Law School Textbook

My brother-in-law Kyle bought a law school textbook that was struggling a little bit, but it was the only used one left so he bought it anyway. He asked me if I could fix it, and I did. I don't have a picture of the repaired book, but just imagine it looking the way a book should look when the text block hasn't come out.

To fix it, I pulled up the endsheet a little bit more from the spine, put some PVA on the strip of linen sticking out from the text block, and laid the strip under the endsheet to secure the text block to the inside front cover. I was afraid I'd have to wrap over the first page and make another endsheet since the page stitching had come out, but I just reinforced the pages together in the gutter with binding tape. Kyle says it is holding up well! Go me.
