Stands for For Publications Only and it is a magazine that landed on my desk at work—free of charge. What happened? Some magazine I subscribe to sold my name and address to this magazine, and now they're trying to get me to buy the subscription.
It might be working.
I really like the sample issue; it talks about design, editing, writing, layout--all the stuff I love. Only for $55 a year (1 magazine per quarter).
Hmm.
At any rate, I loved this article that ran in a previous issue; it's about design and the Obama election campaign. Good stuff.
