So the other day, Mynamyn gave me a flier announcing Utah Valley's Festival of Trees event at the Riverwoods. She only gave it to me because she knew that I would enjoy the text contained therein:
"Finally, a chance to see and bid on some beautifully themed tree's right here in the Valley!"
I mean, really. Did they have a proofreader? First of all, "beautifully themed" should have a hypen in it because it is used as an adjective for trees. However, tree's should not have an apostrophe in it. What is it posessing? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. Some people think that just because something has an s at the end of it means that it gets an apostrophe. Not so.
But hey, the First Ever Utah Valley Festival of Tree's sure looks fun to me. But I'm not sure I could take them seriously...
