I Feel So Official Now

I didn't use to think that I would be someone who would like seeing my name in print. But the March edition of Intercom, the journal of the Society for Technical Communication, was published today, and I leaped a few times in my chair seeing my name under one of the articles. I never thought of myself as someone who would try to get things published, and I don't think it will be a regular occurrence, but it's still kind of exciting to see that I submitted an article about style guides, of all things, and someone wanted to publish it.
